En l’an 3000, plus personne ne sait qu’un jour, les humains se sont raconté des histoires. Personne n’a le souvenir qu’ils dansaient, qu’ils riaient, qu’ils aimaient.

Désormais, les humains ne savent plus qu’une seule chose : un jour, ils atteindront NoVLand. Alors, ils marchent, ils marchent jusqu’à en oublier pourquoi. Et alors qu’ils marchent inlassablement, quelque chose d’étrange et d’inattendu se produit… Un événement qui pourrait changer à jamais le cours des choses…

Alors que les régimes démocratiques s’affaiblissent un peu partout dans le monde, Anton Lachky fait le pari insolite d’interroger la démocratie à travers l’art de la danse. En s’inspirant de genres habituellement réservés à la littérature ou au cinéma, il insuffle à ses danses une narration, du suspense, et crée sur scène un thriller chorégraphique de science-fiction qui questionne les fondements démocratiques de nos sociétés et ce qu’ils ont encore à nous offrir.

As democratic regimes grow weaker across the world, Anton Lachky takes the unusual gamble of exploring democracy through the art of dance. Drawing inspiration from genres usually reserved for literature or cinema, he infuses his choreography with narrative and suspense, creating a science-fiction dance thriller that questions the democratic foundations of our societies — and what they still have left to offer us.
